How JPG to PDF works in MiniFiles
- Processed on your device. Images are placed on PDF pages with pdf-lib inside your browser tab. Nothing is uploaded.
- Full resolution. Each page is sized to its image (longest side up to A4 height) and the image keeps its full pixel resolution. Phone photos are rotated using their EXIF orientation.
- Formats. JPG, PNG, WebP and GIF. PNG and GIF keep transparency; JPG and WebP are re-encoded as JPEG at 92% quality. Animated GIFs use their first frame. HEIC photos aren't supported.
- File name. A single image is saved as <image name>.pdf; several files are saved as merged.pdf.
- Free to use. Each conversion counts as one use. Without an account you get 10 uses a day across all tools; a free account removes the daily limit. No file size limit on any plan.

Will my photos lose quality?
Images keep their full resolution. JPG and WebP are re-encoded at 92% JPEG quality, which is visually very close to the original; PNG and GIF are stored losslessly.
Can I convert iPhone HEIC photos?
Not directly. Convert them to JPEG first (for example with Preview on Mac or the Photos app on Windows), then add them here.
Can I make the PDF smaller afterwards?
Yes. Run the result through Compress PDF to reduce its size, still without uploading it.
